水下信标电池 VDR Beacon battery
水下声学定位信标是一个圆柱形的物体，一般安装在黑匣子的外部，船用黑匣子上的搜救定位装置，是
其中重要的部件，当飞机或船舶坠入水中时，信标开始发送人耳听不到的声波脉冲，这种脉冲可以被
声纳和声学定位仪探测到。通过附近声纳应答接收器，就可接收收到声波信号，以确定失事飞机或轮
船的位置或黑匣子的位置。

除油漆和反射条外，黑匣子还配备有水下定位信标器（ULB）。如果您观察黑匣子的图片，您几乎总会看
见一个较小的圆柱如果飞机坠入水中，该信标器会发出人耳无法听到的声波脉冲，但这些脉冲可被声
纳和声波定位设备轻易检测到。信标的侧面有一个像靶心形状的浸水传感器，传感器遇水后会激活信标
信标器可以发送频率为37.5千赫的脉冲并可在4,267米的深处传声。一旦信标器开始发信，它会持续30天
每秒发出一次脉冲。这种信标器由一节存储寿命为6年的电池供电。

1. The capsule for the VDR is mandatory to be positioned on the Antenna Deck. Therefore,
the beacon is always in tough environment: salty air, salty water, high as well as low
temperatures, which require a special casing to protect the beacon from corrosion. For
this, the casing and the water sensitive switches are galvanically aligned.
2. External factors like high waves and heavy rain, causing condensation, are eliminated by
the intelligent activation system, allowing the PT-9 beacon to stay alive &
working.Therefore, our PT-9 beacon is especially made for the maritime environment!
3. The PT-9 beacon is approved by BSH in Germany and tested against IMO resolution A.861
(20)/MSC.163(78) to fulfill IEC61996 and IEC60945.
4. The PT-9 beacon can be used to replace 1:1 the existing beacons in the field: Dukane
DK120, Dukane DKM120 and Benthos ELP-362D.AMI 2272B VDR,ACOUSTIC BEACON

Dukane DK120 and DK140 Replacement Battery Kits
Dukane Seacom, Inc. manufactures both the DK100/DK130 and DK120/DK140 underwater location
beacons. The DK100/DK130 beacons are sealed units and must be sent back to Dukane for
overhaul exchange. The DK120/DK140 beacons, have a field replaceable battery. To determine
when your battery is due for replacement, locate the expiration date (the RBB date) on the
label.
The DK120/DK140 replacement battery Kits can be ordered directly from Dukane’s Seacom,
Inc. Please refer to the technical manual for the proper replacement battery kit number.
In order to properly change the battery, the operator must use a Dukane Spanner Wrench,
part number 810-325. This wrench is used to open the unique battery cap on the DK120/DK140
beacon. It is important to properly dispose of the lithium battery following local
environmental regulations.
